How Investors Use Namester

Rank listings by how likely they are to draw bidders, vet them on SEO and risk, and never miss an ending auction.

Quality Score for Fast Triage

One score ranks demand and liquidity from the name itself — TLD, length, format and age — so you can sort thousands of auctions instead of opening 50 tabs. It is not a price prediction.

Deal-Finding Filters

Filter live listings by score, TLD, price, length, source and time-to-end to surface only the auctions that fit your buying strategy. Pro adds filters on Ahrefs DR, Majestic TF, backlinks and search volume.

Never Miss an Ending Auction

Track countdowns, bid movement and fresh matches across Namecheap, GoDaddy, Dynadot, Sedo and DropCatch — without tab-hopping between marketplaces.

Check a Name Before You Bid

Look at history, authority, backlinks and spam signals before you bid, so risky or burned names are easier to rule out.

Watchlist & Monitoring

Save targets, see price and bid changes, and get an email before a watched auction ends — no redoing the same research every day.

Multi-Language Support

Search, filters and domain pages in English, Chinese, Japanese and German (a few labels on domain pages are still English only).

AI search · Discover

Describe the domain you want in one sentence

On Discover, write what you are looking for in English, Chinese, Japanese or German. An AI model turns the sentence into ordinary search conditions, and live auctions, buy-now listings and dropping names are then searched side by side.

What the AI does

  • Rewrites your sentence as conditions — words the name should contain, suffix, length, budget, time left.
  • Shows every condition as a chip you can delete. What you see is exactly what runs: those chips, plus one always-on rule written underneath them (listings that have already ended are left out). One exception, shown on the page when it applies: budget and time-left chips only filter the Live auctions column — the Buy now and Dropping columns do not apply them, and the page says so.
  • Turns a non-English description into the English words a domain name can actually contain, and offers other wordings as separate searches.
  • Tells you when it could not read a sentence or a limit was reached, and runs nothing rather than guessing. AI search allows 10 sentences a day without an account, 30 a day with a free account and 30 an hour on Pro.

What it does not do

  • It does not estimate what a domain is worth, and it never suggests an amount to bid.
  • It does not pick names for you. Each column is sorted by a fixed rule, such as Namester Score or name length — never by the model, and never by price.
  • It is not semantic search. The model only translates your words into conditions; the database then looks for names that literally contain those words. A name that fits your idea without containing any of them will not show up.
  • It can misread or skip part of a sentence. That is why every condition is on screen before you rely on the results.
AI Screening · workflows

AI Screening: your criteria, applied to many names at once

Write 1–3 questions (5 on Max) — yes or no, pick a label, a 1–5 rating, a short text or a short list — and run them over a pasted list, your watchlist or the results of a search. Every answer comes with a short reason and the listing data it was based on.

What it does

  • Applies the criteria you write — the same questions — to every name in a run.
  • Uses only Namester's listing data for each name, and shows that data next to every answer.
  • Marks answers the model isn't sure about, and refuses questions about prices or what to buy.
  • Lets you try a screening on 5 names first, and shows how many AI points a run can use before it starts.

What it doesn't do

  • It doesn't estimate what a name is worth or predict a sale price.
  • It doesn't advise you to buy, bid on, renew or drop a name.
  • It doesn't look up sales, traffic or trademark records, and it isn't allowed to invent them.
  • It doesn't guarantee correctness: every answer is a model's output for your criteria.

AI points each month: Free 300 · Pro 5,000 · Max 50,000. One point covers one name with up to three questions on the Base model; the Standard model (Pro and Max) uses 10× as many points and the Premium model (Max) 25×.

Several Marketplaces, One List

Expiring, closeout and auction inventory from several marketplaces, normalized into one record per name and re-fetched on each marketplace's own schedule, so you can compare without switching sites.

  • Refresh schedule set per marketplace
  • Multiple sources normalized into one record
  • Fresh auctions, bids and end times
  • Expired auctions removed automatically

How often we pull each marketplace's main feed: Namecheap every hour, GoDaddy once a day, Dynadot once a day, DropCatch twice a day, and Sedo twice a day. Prices and bid counts are as fresh as that marketplace's last pull — not live to the second.

Built on the Same Data

Three more ways into the same index as the marketplace. Each one is live today.

REST API and MCP server

Query the index from your own code — domain search, single-domain lookup and index stats over a read-only REST API. A free account can create up to 3 API keys, which together share 20 requests per hour for the account, with up to 200 rows per request. A read-only MCP server lets Claude Desktop, Cursor and other MCP clients use the same API with your key.

Bulk Lookup

Sign in and paste up to 50 domains at a time (500 with Pro) to see which of them are in our marketplace data right now — status, price, bids, end time and Namester Score — then download the result as CSV. It checks our listings, not whether a name is free to register.

Recently Ended Auctions

Domain pages include a card of ended auctions we archived that drew at least one real bid — same suffix, similar length — with the marketplace and the last bid we saw, plus how long before the listed end we saw it. That can be hours before the close, so the real closing price may be much higher. Everyone sees the 2 most recent rows; Pro shows all 6. Archiving began on 2026-09-09, so it is a short record rather than a sales history, and it is never a valuation.
